      Staff Accountant

      job Overview

      We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. Real Estate Development experience a plus.

      Duties

      • Payment of all vendor invoices associated with assigned projects
      • Updating job costs and budgets / change orders etc.
      • Tracking and organizing preliminary notices /Knowledge of Contractor lien & levy a plus
      • Review and analysis of vendor statements
      • Monthly reconciliations
      • Payments and postings of utilities (large volume)
      • Scanning organizing of paid invoices from A/P
      • Create and save cash receipts /daily transfers/other data entry
      • Bank deposits
      • Utility Invoice coding allocation
      • Bank reconciliations
      • Misc. Accounting tasks


      Requirements

      • 5+ Years of combined accounting, AP, data entry experience
      • Accounting education background a benefit but we are open to training the right person
      • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Especially Excel)
      • Proficient in Adobe/PDF editor
      • Strong organization & time management skills 
      • Friendly, positive, team player
